Capturing the moment

"An image is an artistic representation of what we see". I didn't get a lot out of my early years as a high school student, but that I always remember being told. I want people to see my images and to feel like they're in that very moment I was. From the commitment of early starts for sunrise photography to the quiet contemplation of a perfect shot, I always strive to evoke emotion and connection in every piece.

Landscapes

Sunrise and sunset views in Bayside Melbourne over the years. I predominantly photograph in the Beaumaris area. I've lived in this area of Melbourne my entire life. I love the quiet of the early morning, watching the skies come alive with colour. The beach is my happy place.

Public art and the artist.

For many years I've walked the streets of Melbourne and admired the work created by street artists. To the casual observer, it's just paint. But to me there's so much to admire in what these artists create in the urban environment. So much time, thought and creativity goes into each individual work.
